WWE SummerSlam was one of the books, culminating in an epic main event between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. That match featured everything from a tractor hoisting the ring to Lesnar buried under a mountain of tables, chairs and steel steps, but it also featured an attempt at Money in the Bank for cash by Theory. Unfortunately for Theory, his cash deposit expired before it started, and in a new interview with NBC Sports Bostonthe theory explained what led to the failure of this cash payment, and it was all because the entrance ramp was “ridiculously long”.
“You know something I picked up was that you can’t tell people when you’re going to pay the money. To be fair, I didn’t have to talk about this, it just got blown up. The reason why I couldn’t make money successfully at SummerSlam was because the ramp was so long Ridiculously. Like, did you see how long I’ve been running [for]? The theory said, who would have been able to make the money, it was impossible.
“Did I know about it? No. I knew these guys were going to destroy each other, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. But did I know the entrance would be two miles away? Like, come on. After running two miles, it’s not as normal as running in Ramp in Raw or any other pay-per-view view,” Theory said.
The good news for Theory is that he didn’t really cash in his SummerSlam bag, so he still has the bag and the possibility to cash out Roman Reigns later. Unfortunately, that road got even more difficult after Monday last week, as he was kicked out by the returning Johnny Gargano. In the same interview, Theory talked about her desire to bring Papa John to the public.
“You know what, when the crowd was chanting ‘Who’s your daddy’ like they always do, a part of me wanted to say, ‘Papa John,’ but something just wasn’t right. I think we all saw what it was. The thing is that the guy who took me Under his wing and he showed me the ropes and he helped me, and I confessed it, and I confessed it to the world. And then, on my show, somewhere where I was paving the way. Somewhere where I did things he didn’t. We all heard in Raw all the accomplishments and all the dreams that [has]And the [well] I’ve already done it. Why don’t you want to learn from me now? Is it because of age? He’s very rude and as we’ve seen how it turns out, you said it yourself, it’s jealousy. Obviously it is. He already knows that the mountain on which the theory is located, he will never be able to climb. This is just a fact. I guess I’ll have to show him the way,” said the theory.
